We invite BA, MA, PhD students, as well as young researchers to participate in the Young Scholars' Poster Session "Digital Transformation in Governance & Society" (YS-DTGS 2022). The poster session will be held on June 23, 2022, in St. Petersburg, Russia, within the framework of the Internet & Modern Society conference.

Young Scholars’ Poster Session “Digital Transformation in Governance and Society” (YS-DTGS – 2022) will be held on June 23, 2022, in St. Petersburg, Russia, within the framework of the international conference «Internet and Modern Society» (IMS-2022).
YS-DTGS is an academic event for students and young scholars (under 35 years of age). It provides a collaborative platform for young researchers to discuss transformative impact of digital technologies.
The session is co-organized by the Laboratory for Social and Cognitive Informatics (HSE University in St. Petersburg) and the E-Governance Center (ITMO University).
The key topic of YS-DTGS – 2022 is related to the digital transformation of governance and communication. We welcome multidisciplinary papers that apply approaches from the social sciences and humanities to the research on social and political institutions, practices, human communication and other behavior in cyberspace, as well as offline, if those are directly influenced by digitalization. We are especially interested in papers falling into the following topics:
- Digital Transformation of Governance and Public Administration;
- E-Governance, E-Government, Digital Government;
- Smart Cities, Digital Transformation of Urban Systems;
- Public Participation and Civic Engagement Online;
- E-Participation, E-Voting and I-Voting;
- Online Communication and the Social Media Research.
PROCEEDINGS
We welcome original papers, which are nether published nor considered for publication elsewhere. The language of the submissions is English. All submissions undergo double-blind peer review by the Program Committee.
Best papers will be published in the IMS – 2022 Proceedings. The authors will be given an opportunity to publish articles of up to 10 pages in English in CEUR-WS, indexed by DBLP and Scopus (http://ceur-ws.org/).
SUBMISSION
- Authors need to submit a paper to YS-DTGS-2022 via the EasyChair system (https://easychair.org/conferences/?conf=ysdtgs2022);
- Papers must be submitted in PDF format;
- Submission must not include authors’ affiliation. This information will be added to the final version of the paper after its approval;
- All papers will undergo a double-blind peer review;
- The authors of accepted papers will be invited to participate in the Poster Session in person;
- The form of participation is offline.
Full-format article requirements for CEUR:
- Should be prepared using CEUR Proceedings format (guidelines - http://ims.ifmo.ru/file/pages/10/CEUR-Template-1col.docx ).
- Should contain 8-10 pages.
- The language is English.

1 May 2022 – Deadline for uploading the papers to the EasyChair system.
20 May – Notifications of acceptance.
30 May – Camera-ready papers submissions
5 June – Poster submissions
23 June – Session
CONFERENCE LOCATION
The Poster Session will be held in the ITMO University (9 Lomonosova str., St. Petersburg, Russia), on 23 June 2022. The Session will be held completely offline.
